BUSINESS SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
FIRSTBANK INSURANCE AGENCY
Job Summary:
Responsible for billing and distribution functions. Attends to, coordinates, and addresses telephone calls or visitors. Provides support and orientation with the goal of minimizing waiting times to ensure customer satisfaction. Occasionally provides direct support to customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Attends the Agency call center.
- Performs billing processes for insurance policies, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Completes distribution tasks assigned through the system.
- Receives, reviews, and works with returned correspondence. Edits customer information as needed.
- Prepares, discusses, and processes insurance finance contracts.
- Performs OFAC and FinCEN reviews within established periods.
- Assists customers in person or by phone with their insurance service requests or claims.
- Performs other general office duties.
Competencies:
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work with a call center system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fully bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Insurance knowledge (preferable).
- Experience in general office work and customer service.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree and at least three years of experience in customer service. Experience in the Insurance Industry is preferable.
