As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Public Relations Specialist to help shape our brand narrative and amplify our presence in the travel industry. About the Role We’re seeking a talented Public Relations Specialist to support and execute strategic PR initiatives that enhance Azamara’s brand reputation, media visibility, and storytelling efforts. This role will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to craft compelling narratives, secure media coverage, and engage key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute PR campaigns that align with Azamara’s brand strategy and business goals. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, travel writers, influencers, and media outlets. Draft press releases, media pitches, talking points, and executive communications. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, identifying opportunities for brand storytelling. Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging across channels. Support crisis communications efforts and manage media inquiries as needed. Assist in organizing press trips, media events, and brand activations. Track and report on PR performance, including media coverage, impressions, and sentiment analysis. What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field (preferably in travel, hospitality, or luxury industries). Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Strong understanding of international media landscapes, with experience in key markets such as North America, the UK, Australia, and Europe. Strong media relations skills with a proven track record of securing press coverage. Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, with experience in crafting compelling press materials. Knowledge of the travel and cruise industry is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with PR tools like Cision.
