The salary range for this position is $98,800.00- $143,300.00 per year with a hiring range of $98,800.00 - $121,000.00, depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, etc.) to align strategies, develop marketing agreements, and create lead generation programs that drive business growth.
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies, in coordination with marketing initiatives to maximize and promote Pulse and partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, businesses, key organizations, and influencers.
- Support PIO communications and crisis communication strategies.
- Lead community outreach strategy, ensuring partnerships that align to business needs and objectives.
- Oversee Pulse sponsorships, events, and partnerships to enhance community presence and engagement.
- Monitor, track and analyze local news, community trends, and business data to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Identify and develop relationships with high-potential community organizations and businesses in order to secure opportunities to engage.
- Represent Pulse at employer and community events to strengthen brand awareness, secure endorsements, and support market expansion.
- Monitor local government and community developments, providing insights to leadership on potential risks and opportunities.
- Support organizational positioning in new geographic markets.
- Develop messaging strategies based on market research and audience insights.
- Create and coordinate messages for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency in brand advocacy.
- Work closely with Sales in the negotiation, development of contract terms, and execution of marketing agreements.
- Use data and market trends to find new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with others to create and execute programs and projects for reaching out to potential customers, capturing leads, and supporting business growth.
- Develop and implement communication and media relations training and coaching to staff in developing communication skills and implementing media relations strategies for various teams.
- Manage award and speaking submissions to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field required.
Experience:
- 5 years in professional event planning and project coordination experience required.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for education requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Certifications:
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Frequent minimal physical effort typically found in clerical work. Primarily sedentary, may occasionally lift and carry light objects. Walking and/or standing as needed and minimal.
- Frequent exposure to routine office noise and equipment.
- Frequent exposure to hazards typically found in general office environments.
- Occasional light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks.
- Occasional exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements.
