** Upper School Visual Arts Teacher**- Lakeland, FL business\_center Full-time Salary: Monthly Application Deadline: N/A Education **General Description**Lakeland Christian School seeks a creative, flexible Visual Arts teacher to join our Upper School Fine Arts faculty, committed to “sharpening minds and shepherding hearts.” The ideal candidate should be able to masterfully teach all Upper School levels (grades 6-12) in a variety of disciplines including drawing, painting, basic printmaking, collaging, and sculpture; must have demonstrable proficiency especially in drawing and painting techniques, as well as a deep knowledge of the elements of art and principles of design; should be conversant in Western Art History and art criticism; must be interested in working in collaboration with the rest of the Fine Arts Department to maintain the shared studio space and keep a cohesive instruction model for the coursework.
