Creative Team Designer
to oversee marketing, design graphics, manage social media, and be involved in all our creative endeavors and projects for our church and its ministries. Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (CCCM) is a Jesus Formed Community on Mission. Community, Formation, and Mission are the three main ways that we believe we are to live out our discipleship to Jesus. We believe that through Gospel teaching, training, and resources, God's people are enabled to take their discipleship into their own hands. We do this by living out the listening, serving, and helping posture of Jesus in our church community. Role and Responsibilities
As a Marketing Overseer, you will actively participate in shaping our church's engagement with art and creativity. Ideally, you will have at least 3 years of experience in graphic design and/or social media management. You should be skilled in your craft, passionate about serving God with your abilities, and able to interact well with pastors, church leaders, volunteers, vendors, newcomers, and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit, pray with staff and congregation members, and have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, serving as an example to others. Align with the mission, vision, and core values of Calvary Chapel as outlined in the Statement of Faith. Support and fulfill the church's mission and goals through creative projects. Serve with humility, gentleness, and a posture of service. Creative Team Responsibilities
Participate in Sunday gatherings for content gathering and vision alignment. Design within the aesthetic guidelines of the church's brand. Develop creative layouts, designs, decor, and art installations. Collaborate with teams to create print and digital assets. Contribute ideas for visual inspiration. Ensure timely project delivery and effective communication. Manage multiple projects efficiently. Maintain organized files and communicate with vendors. Stay updated with design software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and current trends. Contribute to photography, videography, and design projects as needed. Marketing Designer Responsibilities
Develop engaging content for church communications across platforms. Manage social media and website content, ensuring alignment with church values. Create digital communication strategies. Oversee on-campus marketing materials like bulletin boards and banners. Qualifications
College degree and/or 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication skills with leadership. Proficiency in graphic design software and principles. Understanding of art, advertising, and communication excellence. Problem-solving skills and self-motivation. Team player with a Christian work environment understanding. Willingness to cross-train in media and ministry areas. Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, communicate, handle equipment, reach, and lift up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, and focus adjustment. Disclaimer
