Job Description Job Title: Polysomnographic Technologist Job Specialty: Polysomnographer Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 8:30 PM - 6:30 AM, with rotating weekends. No holidays or on-call. Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Registered PSG Technologist, RRT, or EEG Technician, registered with the State of Ohio Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Registered PSG Technologist or RRT or RN, or registered EEG Technician
Job Description: - Responsible for gathering information, setting up, and calibrating polysomnograms and ancillary equipment. - Monitor and record overnight test procedures, as well as score polysomnograms from infant through adult patients. - Must adhere to customer service standards. - Ability to float to different sleep center locations as needed. - Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, stoop, and ambulate intermittently during the day and sit for extended periods. - Must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. - Must possess finger dexterity to operate office equipment. - Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. - Able to communicate effectively in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
