| Purpose of Position | The Senior Multimedia Specialist is a strategic and creative leader within the university's Marketing and Communications team, playing a critical role in shaping and amplifying the institution's brand through compelling visual storytelling. This position is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and delivering multimedia content-especially video-that drives engagement, supports enrollment and advancement goals, and aligns with institutional priorities. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, the Senior MMS leads the development and execution of multimedia strategies across platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact. The role requires hands-on expertise in all phases of video production-from ideation and storyboarding to shooting, directing, editing, and post-production-as well as a strong eye for design and visual composition. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of progressive experience in multimedia production with a strong portfolio showcasing video storytelling, editing, excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams and is a strategic thinker with creative vision, attention to detail and a passion for elevating institutional storytelling. |
