Position Summary:
Seeking a UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on cloud and mobile applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing seamless, user-friendly, and innovative interfaces for cloud-based SaaS platforms, mobile, and desktop applications. This role will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive user experience that aligns with business goals and user needs. Key Roles / Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process, from concept to final implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define user requirements and design optimal solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for cloud platforms, mobile apps, and desktop applications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Design intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that meet the needs of diverse users across multiple devices and platforms.
• Ensure that design consistency is maintained across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web-based cloud applications).
• Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, especially related to cloud and mobile app development.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Behavioral psychology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least two (2) years of experience UI/UX design, with a focus on cloud-based and mobile applications (both iOS and Android).
• A portfolio demonstrating experience in designing cloud and mobile applications is required.
• Expertise in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design techniques.
• Experience with prototyping tools and conducting user testing to validate design decisions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and how they integrate with user interface design.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Flutter) is a plus.
• Experience designing for various screen sizes and devices, optimizing user experiences across platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about user needs and business goals.
• Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud service interfaces and dashboards.
• Understanding of mobile app development processes and how UI/UX design fits into the development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with cloud-native application design, security considerations, and performance optimization.

Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
• Moves throughout the building to access files.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
• Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
• Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
