About The Position
Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Photo Studio Stylist to join the Photo Studio team. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong portfolio and in-depth knowledge of high-volume commercial studios. The Photo Studio is a fast-paced commercial environment and we’re looking for some that is consistent yet versatile and can multitask under pressure.
About The Position
Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Photo Studio Stylist to join the Photo Studio team. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong portfolio and in-depth knowledge of high-volume commercial studios. The Photo Studio is a fast-paced commercial environment and we’re looking for some that is consistent yet versatile and can multitask under pressure.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- On set styling; strong experience across on-model and off-body styling
- Maintain brand styling guidelines and ensure consistency across all product categories
- Collaborate closely with photographers, art directors and production to execute daily shot lists
- Drive daily performance metrics
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and continuously explore on-brand approaches to elevate styling direction
- Be a resource for the freelance styling team
- Continually improve scalable styling workflow
- Maintain and inventory the styling closet, working closely with the Art Director to replenish seasonally or as needed
- Prepare sets and ensure all styling supplies are on-hand and available
- Adhere to all departmental guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Suggest new technologies that will improve workflow and/or final product quality
- Passionate about depicting a product through visual mastery
- A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- An excellent communicator with skills to establish positive working relationships across various levels and fields of expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 2-4 years of professional experience as a stylist, and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job
- Proficiency in standard Office suite of software products
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented/ Organized thinker
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
