Comic Artist Job Summary: We are looking for Comic Artist to develop a 30 page comic book, both digital and traditional. You will be tasked with developing a set of 6 characters, 2 primary and 4 secondary. Vision and scripts will be provided. We're looking for someone that can run with the information they're given and produce a final product onetime and within budget. Create storyboards and thumbnails for comic panels. Draw and ink comic pages based on scripts and storyboards. Collaborate with writers to ensure accurate visual representation of narrative. Color comic pages either digitally or traditionally. Revise artwork based on feedback from editors and writers. Meet tight deadlines to ensure timely publication. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in comic art. Comic Artist Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, or related field. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of artistic styles and techniques. Experience using digital art software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Clip Studio Paint. Knowledge of anatomy, perspective, and composition. Familiarity with comic book history and genres. Excellent storytelling and narrative skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with writers and editors. Strong time management and organizational skills. Previous experience creating comic book art. Passion for comics and graphic storytelling. Proficiency in traditional and digital drawing techniques. Ability to create dynamic and engaging illustrations. Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing. Attention to detail and dedication to quality. Good communication skills.
