This role involves generating prospects, establishing strong relationships, consulting on business matters, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Generate own prospects, network, and establish credibility
- Consult on business matters and close deals
- Review client exposures, loss experience, and current coverages
- Create and present proposals to prospective clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Make necessary contacts to obtain client information
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling commercial lines with an independent broker
- Proven track record of successful sales in the past
- Ability to bring a book of business or have a solid business plan
- Experience working with clients to recommend appropriate products and services
