Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the Vice President for Marketing and Communications, the Director of Enrollment Marketing leads the strategic vision, development, and execution of innovative, data-driven marketing initiatives to support Emerson College's enrollment and retention goals. This leadership role ensures seamless integration of marketing strategies across all facets of the Enrollment Division, collaborating with key stakeholders to align efforts with institutional priorities, enhance Emerson's market presence, and attract a diverse and talented student body. The Director leverages cutting-edge digital marketing techniques, CRM capabilities, and industry best practices to optimize engagement and achieve measurable outcomes.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Provide strategic leadership and vision to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive enrollment marketing plan that aligns with Emerson College's strategic enrollment goals and supports its institutional mission. Direct enrollment-related communications across digital, social, print, and multimedia platforms. Lead efforts to leverage CRM systems and emerging technologies to create personalized and impactful engagement strategies. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing enrollment marketing team. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented culture that encourages professional growth and excellence. Partner with academic and administrative departments, including Undergraduate and Graduate Admission, Student Financial Services, Data and Operations, and the Office of Student Success, to design and execute cohesive marketing initiatives. Serve as a key liaison with the Office of Marketing and Communications to ensure enrollment strategies reflect Emerson's brand standards and strategic vision. Advocate for brand integrity across all enrollment touchpoints. Stay abreast of enrollment marketing trends and implement industry-leading practices to continuously refine and enhance Emerson's strategies. Develop and execute marketing communication strategies for on- and off-campus recruitment events, ensuring consistent branding and audience engagement. Manage the enrollment marketing budget with precision, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment. Utilize analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Regularly report findings to senior leadership and recommend actionable improvements based on data insights. Cultivate partnerships with key influencers, including alumni, school counselors, and community organizations, to expand outreach and amplify Emerson's messaging. Support the recruitment, hiring, and development of team members, promoting a collaborative culture. QUALIFICATIONS -
Qualifications are deemed required or preferred and represent what is needed to effectively perform the job. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, enrollment management, or higher education leadership, with a demonstrated ability to achieve measurable outcomes. Demonstrated experience in digital marketing strategies and data-driven decision-making. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES -

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
