Hiring Now: PUBLIC RELATIONS & CONTENT SPECIALIST

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is looking for a Public Relations & Content Specialist with 2-4 years of PR and content marketing experience to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry plus strong writing / editing skills and experience with media relations on local, regional and national levels. This role will be based at the Lettuce Corporate office as well as working in the restaurants as needed.

• Create, write and edit engaging, high-quality content that drives brand awareness, guest engagement, media coverage and traffic to our websites and restaurants
• Manage the company website (lettuce.com), specifically the Newsfeed blog content calendar and recipes
• Produce monthly reports using Google Analytics to inform and assist the marketing team's data-driven content strategy.
• Execute and maintain ongoing proactive and reactive media relations
• Manage creative development for monthly newsletters and collaborate with the corporate and restaurant marketing teams on integrated campaigns and initiatives
• Oversee PR team organization including but not limited to content calendars, monthly reports, press kits and photo assets

If you are highly skilled at creating and editing content under deadline and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with media, external partners and across departments, this role may be a match for you! Experience in SEO-driven content strategies and previous PR agency experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create, write and edit relevant, on-trend content within deadlines for the company and restaurant brands
• Manage the lettuce.com editorial calendar and act as overall editor of lettuce.com including but not limited to updating and ensuring accuracy of customer-facing content as well as overseeing PR-related pages
• Track and analyze performance metrics for lettuce.com and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
• Own the Lettuce newsletter process for the overall monthly newsletter and market-specific editions
• Lead content for seasonal campaigns from concept ideation to creative briefing and drive integrated content strategies as part of the Internal Content Team
• Collaborate with Lettuce corporate and restaurant marketing teams to develop and execute cohesive, integrated campaigns
• Serve as a key liaison between restaurant marketing teams, chefs, beverage directors, and restaurant operators to support PR and content initiatives
• Work closely with PR Director and PR Manager on daily proactive and reactive media relations for corporate and restaurant brands on a local, regional and national level
• Maintain availability to perform duties outside standard business hours on occasion as needed, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
• Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
• Occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds

Qualifications:

• Strong editorial experience across blogs, press releases, and newsletters
• Experience in public relations, content marketing, or brand communications, preferably in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams
• Media relations expertise, with a track record of securing press coverage and fostering media relationships
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize content based on data-driven insights

Salary Range: USD $75,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
