Summary: The Public Relations & VIP Associate is a dynamic, detail-oriented role that supports the PR and Communications teams across overall communications initiatives, including celebrity partnerships and influencer/KOL engagement. This position contributes to global PR strategies, oversees editorial and VIP sample trafficking, assists with events and special projects, and ensures meticulous documentation of press coverage and sample logistics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, and brings experience in fashion PR and influencer programs. This role will report to the Director, VIP and matrix to the PR/Communications team as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Organize and track physical collection samples in showroom and sample closet.

• Responsible for all global sample trafficking for editorial and VIP loans; ensuring that nothing is lost, stolen or damaged

• Coordinate courier services/shipping for all respective samples with facilities, interns, editorial fashion assistants, international offices, upon approval from supervisor.

• Assist PR department with all special projects, event planning and events including on-site assistance, pre-planning, list management, day-to-day errands for team.

• Ensure press department receives monthly global press recap.

• Responsible for tracking, compiling, saving and documenting all press credits: print and online editorial, events, special initiatives, including celebrity dressing as well as “best of” recaps for every month

• Maintain weekly upcoming editorial credits chart for respective categories

• Support the sourcing, updating, and management of PR contact lists to maintain accurate and effective outreach databases.

• Create and maintain documents and calendars for department

• Administrative support to PR department – expenses, invoices and more...

• Ensure samples are steamed and in pristine condition for AW’s archive and future loans

• Support the execution of global influencer strategies across organic and paid ambassador programs, engaging micro/macro influencers, KOCs, and KOLs.

• Lead influencer outreach efforts; coordinate and manage product gifting logistics and fulfillment.

• Track KPIs to evaluate the ROI of gifting initiatives and inform future strategy.

• Assist the Dir. of VIP in coordinating MTO and custom dressing initiatives.

• Support VIP orders and consignments, collaborating cross-functionally with DTC and retail teams.

• Liaise with external PR agency partners in alignment with global strategy.

Position Requirements:

• Experience working with a fashion brand or PR agency preferred

• Minimum at least 2 years experience

• Strong writing and verbal skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working with editors and stylists

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Fashion GPS/ Launchmetrics, MuckRack is a plus

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $75,000 to $80,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
