Our internship program helps to provide opportunities to interested parties who are seeking meaningful career-based experiences where they can apply what they've learned through their education and hone skills they've acquired in the process. This internship will assist in launching your career as well as enabling you to contribute to the community, support a family, and achieve personal fulfillment. The Intern will be under the general supervision of the Communications supervisor. Intern will be responsible for fulfilling the requirements of their internship as follows: Division Support: Perform all duties correctly and completely as assigned by supervisor; Attend cross-division meetings and training opportunities; Assist on initiatives and projects; Follow all DHHS policies and procedures. Evaluations and Feedback: Complete regular check-ins with supervisor; Complete both a mid-program and final-program evaluation. Professional Development: Create a professional development plan with the supervisor; attend courses/seminars/workshops as required or planned. Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum and Additional Requirements Intern applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years of age on or before the first day of employment, and meet at least one of the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four-year institution) A graduated candidate within a two-year timeframe from the graduate date and the first day of the internship Candidates must attach the below documents: Cover Letter Resume Must be available to work a minimum of fifteen (15) hours per week during the semester.
