Executive Alliance is pleased to represent our client, a midmarket financial services and wealth management organization (RIA and MFO) located in Houston, TX.
They are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist who can produce and manage multi-channel content assets across a variety of platforms and understands brand identity style and graphic design experience.
NOTE: This is an onsite opportunity located in the greater Houston area. This is not a remote role.
The Content Marketing Specialist will write, edit, and distribute media for a variety of projects including web, social media, print, and video. This person will collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to develop creative concepts and compelling messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Write engaging and persuasive promotional and informational digital content, optimizing copy to drive website traffic and lead generation (website pages, blogs, landing pages, eBooks, emails, and social media).
- Create original copy and edit content for corporate marketing and communications materials.
- Interpret project briefs to develop and execute creative concepts.
- Research and understand subject matter expert needs and target audiences through online research, interviews, and in-person meetings.
- Oversee and execute graphic design for all marketing materials.
- Review web analytics and SEO reports, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with team members from concept development to content distribution.
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal marketing team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications.
- Ensure consistency in messaging by adhering to style guidelines and brand voice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional copywriting experience within the financial services industry, with a strong portfolio. Experience specifically within an RIA, wealth management firm, or private client division of a broker-dealer is a plus.
- Exceptional writing and research skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style based on industry and target audience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, and graphic design software.
- Experience with Google Ads and paid social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of SEO tactics, including keyword-centric copywriting, meta descriptions, image optimization, site structure, and link-building.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong appreciation for high-quality design.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
