Satellite Communications Acquisition and Strategy Professional The Opportunity: As an acquisition management and program strategy professional, you understand the importance of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle to your clients’ missions. You recognize the interplay of mission, strategy, and policy, and you have a keen eye for driving improvement and impact. We are seeking someone like you to serve as a liaison to the government, driving strategy and outcomes. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and enhance the processes that defend our nation. As a Federal Acquisition Management and Program Strategy Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll collaborate closely with our defense clients to support the warfighter, ensuring they have the resources needed for mission success. This role offers the opportunity to influence the country’s defense acquisition and contracting processes. You’ll leverage your knowledge of defense procurement, satellite communications technologies, and industry practices to develop and recommend innovative strategies for major satellite communications initiatives. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in mission engineering, operations, analytics, and organizational change to improve operational efficiency and align with program acquisitions. You will lead market research, develop cost recovery solutions, prepare procurement request packages, and manage the secure storage and handling of sensitive documents. Your role will also involve providing acquisition expertise regarding statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting project success. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and securing concurrence will be key responsibilities, along with collaborating with client leadership to identify and defend program strategies and improve business operations. You Have: 8+ years of experience managing the lifecycle of major federal government acquisitions in accordance with FAR and DFARS Ability to work onsite in Maryland and Virginia Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience with satellite communication services programs 5+ years of experience with mission engineering or strategy 2+ years of experience with organizational change or process improvement Experience with Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) programs Knowledge of satellite communications Knowledge of policies for DWCF programs Strong written and verbal communication skills Top Secret clearance Master’s degree Relevant certifications such as CCEA, ICEAA, or DAWIA Clearance: Applicants will undergo a security investigation; Secret clearance is required. Compensation: Our benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Salary ranges from $69,400 to $158,000 annually, based on various factors. This posting will close in 90 days from the posting date.
