Position: Web Designer Location: 2950 SW McClure Rd Topeka, KS Job Id: 2265 # of Openings: 1 Position: Web Designer Department: Creative Services Department Reporting to: Web Design Art Director Overview: At Advisors Excel, we are looking for experienced web designers who aren't afraid of dreaming big, working hard and never settling for anything less. We're out to impact our advisor's business - one remarkable design at a time. This role will conceptualize, design and create websites and digital marketing materials for our advisors. You'll work as part of the creative team to establish the vision, digital brand and design strategies for Advisors Excel and our clients. This position will work in our Topeka office; you'll be inspired everyday by a team of talented designers and an amazing culture. What you'll do: Brainstorm, create and transform ideas into compelling digital designs and websites Design and produce various digital marketing materials including email campaigns, landing pages, social media advertising and other digital assets Partner with account managers and translate project briefs into innovative creative designs that are impactful digital marketing tools Participate in meetings with advisors including design reviews and creative onboarding Interact by phone and email with our financial advisors - handle website questions or resolve issues Assist with social media projects and initiatives Create original design solutions for Advisors Excel Experience you'll bring: 3+ years' experience in website and digital design An impressive creative portfolio that clearly shows knowledge and execution of strong design Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design thinking Excellent skills with design software, primarily Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite Willingness to take creative direction, adapt on the fly, and offer solutions that drive to succeed Able to meet tight deadlines and handle pressure Be organized, efficient and pay close attention to details while handling multiple projects Bonus Points: Bachelor's degree in fine arts, digital design or related field Experience at an advertising agency or in a media/marketing environment What you'll get: Amazing benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k (with matching options) Generous PTO package from your start date Access to an on-site cafe, gym and even an on-site primary care physician Continuous personal and professional development opportunities Recognition for hard work and exemplary performance Employee sponsored events... and much more!
