Overview
We are looking for a UX Designer and Strategist to play a key role in shaping the user experience of our websites. This role will work on projects ranging from individual component designs to full section redesigns while also managing the day-to-day operations of our design system. You'll collaborate with digital strategy, product, technology, and content strategy teams to create user-centered, accessible, and data-driven solutions that enhance our website's usability and engagement.
As a member of the Marketing & Technology Product Team, you will:
- Lead UX Strategy & Design: Develop and execute UX strategies for projects of varying scope, from individual UI components to multi-page experiences.
- Design System Management: Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and usability across the website.
- Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Ensure all designs align with ADA/WCAG guidelines, creating experiences that are accessible to users of all abilities.
- Data-Driven & Customer Journey Design: Use user research, A/B testing, and analytics to inform design decisions, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams, including digital strategy, product, engineering, and content teams, to align UX decisions with business goals.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity design concepts, ensuring intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Usability Testing & Research: Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on insights.
- Design Execution: Work across strategy and execution, from conceptualizing UX improvements to designing detailed, ready-for-development UI components.
You'll Have:
- 5+ years in UX/UI design, with experience in both strategic and tactical aspects of design.
- Proven experience designing user-friendly digital experiences, preferably for large-scale websites.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and ability to design with data-driven insights.
- Experience in usability testing, user research, and A/B testing.
- Deep knowledge of accessibility best practices (ADA, WCAG compliance) and inclusive design.
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design system management.
- Familiarity with Storybook (preferred) to manage design-to-development workflows.
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, and how designs translate into code).
- Ability to balance big-picture UX strategy with hands-on design execution.
- Comfortable working with multiple teams, including product managers and developers.
