Description:
The Grant Writer will support Trinity Health Georgia by identifying funding opportunities, drafting proposals, and submitting grant applications to secure funding aligned with the Organization’s mission.
This role is crucial in helping the Organization expand its health programs and services for the community
What you will do:
Grant Research
o Identify and research potential grant opportunities from foundations, government entities, and other funding sources that align with Trinity Health Georgia’s goals.
o Maintain a database of applicable grants and submission deadlines.
Proposal Writing and Submission
o Draft, edit, and complete grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents for submission.
o Ensure all submissions meet the specific guidelines and requirements of each funding source.
o Collaborate with relevant staff to gather information and data necessary for proposals.
Grant Application Management
o Track the progress of submitted applications and follow up with funders as needed.
o Maintain records of submissions, awards, and reporting requirements.
Reporting and Documentation
o Ensure timely submission of required reports to funders, including progress reports and financial updates as needed.
o Work with the finance department to ensure compliance with grant funding requirements.
What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in grant writing and fund development.

· At least three (3) years of experience in grant writing, preferably in healthcare or non-profit sectors.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong research and organizational skills.
