Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Operations team. This role requires experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Marketo, and Workfront to support our marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution of digital campaigns.
This role will report to a Senior Digital Campaign Manager on the Marketing Operations team. As an active and involved member of the Marketing Operations team, you will continuously champion and advance the use of marketing automation within Alkermes. This position requires strong analytics, operational skills, a collaborative mindset, and great attention to detail. Working in conjunction with brand marketing teams and their agency partners, this person will serve as an operational lead for our email and website channels.
Alkermes has recently adopted a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees, and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Automation
- Design, build, and execute email marketing campaigns using Marketo
- Develop workflows, nurture campaigns, and segmentation strategies
- Understand the end-to-end flow of marketing data for optimization and reporting purposes
- Own assigned projects and drive to completion, collaborating when necessary with other marketing, sales operations, and IT team members
- Work cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of Marketing Operations projects in support of brands’ strategic goals
- Content Authoring
- Oversee website updates, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain an excellent user experience
- Ability to author, edit, and publish website content using Adobe Experience Manager
- Ensure content is optimized for web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
- Work with developers to enhance templates and components as needed
- Project Coordination/Collaboration
- Utilize Workfront to plan, prioritize, and manage marketing projects across teams
- Ensure timely delivery of campaigns by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Track and report on project milestones and ensure consistent communication across teams
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in a digital marketing or marketing operations related role
Preferred Skills and Knowledge Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager Sites, Marketo, and Workfront
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working autonomously and self-motivated
- Knowledge of omnichannel marketing and technology
- Certification in Marketo or Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
