Are you a creative, detail-driven video editor who thrives on making both short-form and long-form content that stands out? Sweet Fish is looking for a Video Editor to join our production team and help transform raw footage into compelling podcast episodes, YouTube videos, and scroll-stopping social media clips for B2B brands.

As a Video Editor at Sweet Fish, you'll work closely with our producers to create high-performing video assets for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify, Apple and TikTok. You’ll be responsible for both polishing long-form podcast episodes and crafting engaging short-form content that helps our clients build their presence across multiple channels.

This position is open to candidates currently residing in Orlando, Florida. Candidates must live within commuting distance to Winter Garden, as this is an on-site role.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit Long-Form Video Content: Turn raw podcast recordings into polished, high-quality episodes for YouTube and other platforms.
• Create Short-Form Social Content: Produce engaging vertical videos and reels designed for maximum visibility and shareability on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
• Repurpose Long-Form Into Short-Form: Identify and extract key moments from long-form content to create clips that capture attention quickly.
• Follow Trends & Best Practices: Keep up with platform-specific trends, editing styles, and audience behaviors to drive strong performance.
• Collaborate with the Creative Team: Partner with producers, strategists, and other creatives to ensure your edits align with brand voice and client strategy.
• Own Your Workflow: Juggle multiple client projects with clear communication, tight organization, and a focus on quality and consistency.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, including long-form video (podcast or YouTube).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator a bonus).
• Experience editing short-form video for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement in both long and short formats.
• Comfortable working with large RAW 4K files and delivering polished, platform-ready content.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills—you stay on top of your projects and communicate clearly.
• Bonus: Experience with Descript and/or in-person production.

• Location: Winter Garden, FL (on-site at Sweet Fish Studios)
• Duration: Full-time
• Compensation: $45,000 annual salary + benefits
