Summary of Position:
The Full-Stack Web Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the corporate website for Indiana Wesleyan University. This position will work on researching, developing, and maintaining solutions needed for the teams at Indiana Wesleyan University. The position offers a hybrid work schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with leadership to accomplish key goals and initiatives Develop and integrate with in-house and 3rd party API's Write performance, maintainable high quality front-end and back-end solutions Continually research and implement industry standard frameworks and solutions Work with the user community to identify and develop solutions addressing system, user, and customer needs Research and experiment with new web tools and technologies Qualifications:

Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related discipline (Computer Science, Web Development) or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience Experience &
Required Skills
Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), SQL, SOSL/SOQL, Velocity, Working knowledge of JS Libraries (React.js, jQuery, etc.) Working knowledge and best practices of SEO Prior CMS experience (preferably CascadeCMS) UI/UX experience Higher Education knowledge is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey analytics concepts and analysis to non-experts Ability to travel as required to meet with vendors and service providers and to represent IWU at designated conferences, meetings, and events Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skill
