Job Description
The YMCA of Greater Montgomery is on the hunt for a Marketing Director ready to elevate our digital presence, engage our community, and help us drive growth, retention, and fundraising through exciting digital campaigns!
As the Marketing Director, you’ll be at the helm of our online presence, orchestrating everything from social media campaigns to website updates, digital ads, email marketing, and dynamic content creation.

Qualifications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, graphic design, and digital marketing.
Proficient in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva to create stunning visuals that capture attention.
Knowledgeable in video production (shooting and editing) to create compelling content for social media, email, and website.
Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A deep passion for the YMCA’s mission and a desire to help us grow our community and support our programs through creative digital marketing efforts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and graphic design.
- Strong experience with email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and SEO
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, fast-moving team.Bonus points for experience in video production and editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead Our Digital Marketing Revolution
- Develop and implement a cohesive digital strategy that spans our website, social media channels, digital ads, email marketing, and fundraising efforts.
- Create and execute a content calendar that keeps us engaging, relevant, and always on brand!
- Stay ahead of the curve with new and exciting digital trends that will help us stand out and reach our goals.
- Use your design skills to create eye-catching graphics, videos, and posts using tools like Photoshop, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite that will captivate our audience on social media, email, and the web.
- Shoot and edit videos to tell compelling stories about the Y’s impact in the community, from program highlights to fundraising events.
- Manage and create engaging posts across all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), telling our story and promoting events, programs, and impact.
- Build meaningful relationships with our followers and create a strong, engaged online community that is passionate about our cause.
- Design and execute impactful email campaigns that keep our members informed and excited-whether it’s event promotions, news updates, or fundraising calls to action.
- Manage email lists, segment audiences, and track performance metrics to improve open rates, engagement, and conversions.
- Create a digital media plan to support fundraising initiatives and drive online donations with powerful calls-to-action and compelling storytelling.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate digital strategies into fundraising campaigns and events.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, working with both marketing colleagues and branch teams to align efforts and ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels.
- Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing tools and trends to keep the Y’s marketing strategies innovative and cutting-edge.
- CPR/First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire months
