We are Rocky Mountain Prep, a movement comprised of incredible educators, families, scholars, and advocates who are changing the face of public education in Colorado by democratizing college access and preparation for historically marginalized students and families. On paper, we are a network of twelve college preparatory charter schools in the Denver metro area serving students as young as twelve weeks through twelfth grade. But we are so much more than this.

As the Manager, Visual & UX Design , you will lead the creative expression and user experience of our internal and external digital platforms, bringing our brand and mission to life through visual storytelling and thoughtful design. From our public website to our staff intranet, your work will ensure that every interaction with RMP reflects the joy, excellence, and belonging at the heart of our schools.
What you will be doing :
- Design and maintain RMP’s public website and internal intranet, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and joyful user experience for families, staff, and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage RMP’s visual design system, ensuring consistency across materials.
- Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and use insights to inform design decisions and improvements.
- Translate complex ideas into clean, accessible, and beautiful design solutions.
Brand & Creative Execution
- Produce high-quality visual assets (graphics, icons, templates, infographics, etc.) to support RMP’s communications, campaigns, and events.
- Ensure visual materials reflect RMP’s Concept Essence, Academic Vision, and Big 5 goals. .
- Elevate brand integrity through consistent application of voice, tone, typography, and color across platforms.
What experience you will bring to us:
- 3–6 years of experience in UX design, graphic design, web design, or related creative fields.
- Deep working knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and content management systems.
- Familiarity with web accessibility, responsive design, and best practices for inclusive user experiences.
- Experience applying design thinking to real-world projects, including user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, precision, and user-centered design.

Commitment and Compensation
The Manager, Visual & UX Design role is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position with a salary range of $60,000–$90,000, based on experience.
