Our client, a leading automation and engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Designer to join their team. As a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, effective time management abilities, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas refineries and chemical plants. Redline and review P&ID’s, and revise interlock and motor schematics. Create wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and demo packages, ensuring quality control. Generate material take-offs and create junction boxes, marshalling panels, and DCS/PLC cabinets. Collaborate with design teams to ensure all safety policies are understood and applied.
What's Needed?
5-10+ years of experience in Instrument & Control System Design. Proficiency with 2D AUTOCAD, EXCEL, MicroStation, CADWORX, BlueBeam, and ACCESS. Ability to create conduit and cable tray drawings, including support details and sizing calculations. Experience with electrical low-voltage applications and general NEC knowledge. Self-motivated with strong client interface skills and accountability for deliverables.
