SUMMARY The Coordinator, Social Media will be responsible for social strategy, channel management, and publishing across select BSE social media channels, including Barclays Center. This person will also contribute to influencer marketing efforts with a focus on social media creators. This role will work collaboratively with the Content team and across the business to develop social media content that fosters growth and engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of how people consume social content, pay attention to detail, and keep current on cultural and industry trends. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Run the editorial calendar and be responsible for day-to-day social publishing for select BSE accounts
- Develop organic social media channel strategies in conjunction with the social media leadership team
- Curate, prioritize, and produce content that is consistent with brand messaging
- Support conceptualization, production, and publishing of social content and campaigns for Barclays Center and other BSE properties
- Build detailed distribution plans for priority content initiatives
- Support the development of influencer / creator strategy, objectives and metrics anchored towards engagement and content creation
- Prepare reporting documents for clients that demonstrate strategy, execution, and achievement of social media goals
- Stay abreast of social media trends and integrate new opportunities for select BSE social media presence
- Attend and cover Barclays Center events, including concerts and more, with the goal of producing compelling content that captures attention
- Research, vet, and engage potential influencers across Instagram, TikTok, etc. to build a pipeline of talent for BSE properties
- Liaise with Celebrity/Talent team to coordinate shoots/capture content, and fulfill influencer content
- Measure program performance and report key insights and results
- Stay on top of social media trends and the creator landscape to inform new strategies
- 1-3 years experience in social media role preferred
- Deep understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and trends
- Strong visual eye with regard to the production and curation of social media content (photography, video, graphics)
- Experience with social media measurement tools such as Emplifi
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- Connoisseur of pop culture, entertainment, and industry trends
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Great teammate with the ability to work independently as needed
