About Food For The Poor
Food For The Poor, one of the largest international relief and development organizations in the nation, does much more than feed millions of the hungry poor primarily in 17 countries of the Caribbean and Latin America. This interdenominational Christian ministry provides emergency relief assistance, clean water, medicines, educational materials, homes, support for orphans and the aged, skills training and micro-enterprise development assistance. Overall Responsibility:
The primary responsibility of the Multimedia Production Specialist is to promote stories and testimonies about our mission at Food For The Poor, our donors and the families we serve in developing countries.
Create engaging live pre-production content for use on FFTP's social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, podcasts etc. Manage pre-production, production, and post-production. Must be capable of operating studio cameras, mixing audio and maintaining the gear in Food For The Poor's studio.
Duties:
- Produces audio and video content in the studio for multiple platforms. This includes prepping the studio, testing cameras and mics before production.
- Develop and create engaging content tailored for various social media platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Assists in developing the concept behind the project, and what forms of media will be used.
- Postproduction duties include rendering audio and video, uploading to social media and archiving content.
- Works and meets with clients during all phases of production to make sure what is being produced meets expectations, intake of clients' ideas and initiates improvements as needed.
- Preferred Limited studio engineering responsibilities such upkeep of hardware, wiring, cameras, microphones, lights, switchers, soundboards, computers, and computer software.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for various productions.
- Furnish still photos to creative team to be toned and edited.
- Occasional travel off site to attend events.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A degree in Studio, Video, Audio or Web Production is preferred but not required.
- Experience with live streaming software is required.
- Five years or more of related experience is preferred.
Skills:
- Live Stream video production experience
- Still photography
- Studio Camera operation
- Studio Audio operation
- Video and audio editing
- Webcast or line producing experience.
- Strong organizational
- Ability to multi-task
- Studio technology maintenance
- Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop required
- Radio broadcasting, Television and /or print news experience a plus
