Job Title: Technical Designer- Girls, Boys, Baby and Infant
Salary $90,000 +

Job Location: New York, NY- Hybrid
Well-known childrens brand is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team! You will be responsible for achieving impeccable fit and construction standards in this role. If you are detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment, please apply!
- Maintain production/quality standards, adhering to Corporate Technical Department and Product Development standards and procedures.
- Update and create technical packaging to be sent to overseas factories, including grading, construction description, and proposed garment specs.
- Follow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy.
- Assist in fit sessions: take notes and photos of the required corrections on fit and construction and send them to the vendor.
- Review with vendors on grading and construction corrections that are required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree or equivalent work experience.
5 years plus technical design experience in the retail garment industry, including knowledge of
Girls and Boys, Newborn, Infant and Toddler
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word. Working knowledge of Microsoft Illustrator and Photoshop
