Position Overview

1. Handle the roles of writing, shooting, and editing compelling videos for Telemundo Charlotte and clients for broadcast and digital.
2. Use videography skills to create engaging scenes and spots that highlight the client’s strengths.
3. Edit proficiently using Adobe platforms, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
4. Coordinate community engagement and event planning to represent the station.
5. Innovate in the production process by bringing big ideas to life.
6. Manage tight deadlines and oversee all aspects of production from start to finish.

Telemundo Charlotte seeks a Promotions Producer to work on entertainment and sports promotion, shoot, write, and edit promotional and community content, and assist with client production and news promotion.

1. Handle the creation of compelling videos for broadcast and digital platforms.
2. Use videography to produce standout scenes and spots.
3. Edit using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
4. Coordinate community engagement and represent the station at events.
5. Handle Spanish language news content and promotions.
6. Bring innovative ideas to production processes.
7. Meet tight deadlines, overseeing all production phases.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 3-4 years of experience in marketing, promotion, production, or broadcast television as a producer/photographer/editor.
2. Familiarity with social media content management.
3. Excellent communication, organization, and script-writing skills.
4. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Production, Marketing, or Broadcast-related fields is preferred.
