Media Relations Strategist in Restaurant PR

PUBLIC RELATIONS ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR FOR RESTAURANTS

We are searching for an entrepreneurially-minded Public Relations Account Supervisor with a strong interest in restaurants. For this position, we prize technical ability, curiosity, and drive.

We are looking for a candidate in-market in San Francisco, CA.

Previous agency or in-house experience in media relations for restaurants, as well as a strong command of local and regional media, are required.

Select Job Responsibilities

1. Draft client story, messaging, and talking points
2. Identify, maintain and curate database of top-tier local, regional, and national media contacts
3. Conceptualize and execute public relations events, including briefings, events, functions, stays, drops, media familiarization trips, and itineraries
4. Entertain media regularly
5. Qualify media interest in story development
6. Assist with media training, where necessary
7. Oversee creation of press kit and multimedia library
8. Create custom new media vehicles for better storytelling
9. Monitor and respond to media successes
10. Coordinate media shoots and segments
11. Measure and report
12. Interface with team members in other disciplines for strong coordination of integrated marketing campaigns
13. Create a comprehensive and thoughtful public relations strategy for partners to maximize exposure
14. Promote learning, influence choices, and foster connections vis-à-vis media relations
15. Monetize the discipline on behalf of a business’ bottom line, wherever possible
