PR Associate, Food & Beverage Team

Location: New York City | Hybrid (3 days/week in Flatiron office)

The Brand Guild is looking for a PR Associate to join our growing Food & Beverage team in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional with 2–3 years of agency experience who’s passionate about shaping the narrative for today’s most exciting food, beverage and hospitality brands.

What You’ll Do

• Support Account Success
• Draft press releases, media briefings, talking points, and other key materials
• Research industry trends, media targets, and category insights to fuel strategy
• Monitor press coverage and maintain detailed client reporting

• Pitch & Build Relationships
• Create compelling story angles and pitch proactively to media
• Identify timely earned media opportunities aligned with client goals
• Help build and maintain relationships with local and national journalists

• Stay Ahead of the Curve
• Track editorial calendars and cultural trends to inform outreach
• Stay on top of F&B and hospitality news, sharing insights with teams and clients
• Support press events, activations, and launch moments
  

Who You Are

• A strong writer and communicator with a passion for media and storytelling
• A proactive thinker who’s resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented
• A news junkie who’s naturally curious and always in-the-know
  
  

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of PR agency experience (F&B or hospitality experience a plus)
• Experience drafting press materials and securing earned media coverage
• Strong research, writing, and project management skills
• Comfort working across teams and directly with clients
