Ulla Johnson is seeking a Manager of Creative Studio to join our growing department that drives and delivers all brand visual output. This individual will play a key role in supporting the Sr. Director of Creative Studio in bringing the brand’s vision to life across all consumer touchpoints. As a member of the Creative Studio team, the Manager of Creative Studio will be deeply involved in a variety of projects—from day-to-day production to larger brand initiatives—while also helping to establish and maintain processes that support the team’s efficiency and growth.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage shoot calendar in partnership with our Associate Director of Creative Production to ensure all assets are being captured in a timely manner for the business.
• Organize and maintain archive of all photo assets for the organization, continually improving file management processes for the business.
• Own asset distribution internally in coordination with our Producer to ensure that teams are receiving files in a timely fashion, and in line with negotiated usage for all UJ shoots.
• Support eCommerce shoots on set by managing shot lists and liaising between Production, eCommerce, Merchandising and our eCommerce Photo Team.
• Support Sr. Director of Creative Studio with development of new art direction approach and style guide for accessories photography, and own go forward execution in Showroom seasonally.
• Support Sr. Director of Creative Studio with the creation of boards and decks for upcoming and in progress shoots, and special projects.
• Support Sr. Director of Creative Studio with selects and retouching processes for eCommerce and Campaign, in partnership with our Producer.
• Own the majority of internal eCommerce retouching needs, and manage overflow with external resources to ensure timely deliveries and consistent quality.
• Build out Retouching Guidelines for e-commerce and flat photography and onboard all freelance retouchers to follow these guidelines.
• Support Department with asset processing and cropping for final outputs (site, social, email, print).

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years previous experience.
• An understanding of the entire stills and video production process, from conception to post production.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter, ability to act and follow through on projects independently.
• Proficient at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker, unafraid to bring new ideas to the table.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Capture One.
• Intermediate to advanced retouching skills required.

Salary Range: $85,000-$97,000

*Compensation may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. Ulla Johnson reserves the right to offer a salary outside of this range based on these considerations.
