As our studio Creative Director you will serve as the creative leader and unifying thread across the marketing, creative, and branding efforts of each of our brands.You will have the lead role in building out our marketing departments and will be responsible for both defining and evolving our entire aesthetic as a company and across each of our individual brands.What You'll Do
Archetype the visual brand identity for each UJUU brand and propertyConceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completionShape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriateRecruit, hire, direct and motivate teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters etc. to help them use their talents effectivelySupervise the creative team's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and respective marketing budgetsTrain and guide subordinates into accomplished professionalsEvaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing techniquesMonitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the futureLead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideasWrite and design unique and well-crafted copy that resonates and directly speaks to our UJUU communityRevise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the teamQualities You Possess
Creative and strategic thinkerMultidisciplinary creativeEnergetic, mature, empathetic and positive person who is self-driven and can work independentlyExcellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InVision, Figma, etcA minimum of 5 years’ digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to designing for: web, eCommerce platforms, social and emerging technologiesProficient at developing branding, evaluating designs, and launching and tracking marketing campaignsA solid understanding of design, copy and web practicesHave an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing modelsReflective and continuously looking to learn from new inputs, experiences, and dataAbility to assess a situation and problem-solve for a positive outcomeStrong written and oral communication skillsDetail-oriented and exceptionally-organized
