A Digital Lead, with experience in UX architecture and design will manage the website for a federal client focused on cybersecurity.
In this role, you will:
Review and edit web content for flow, interaction, messaging, and ease of use. Evaluate content structure and recommend improvements to overall design and content.
Oversee the work of graphic designers and content strategists
Conduct research via competitive/comparative analysis, heuristic reviews, user interviews, or other research techniques appropriate for the project
Assist facilitation or organization of workshops with users, stakeholders or internal team members, such as design studios or brainstorming sessions
Build documentation as appropriate for the project to help colleagues understand or build upon the design. Examples may be storyboards, wireframes, mockups or similar artifacts
Be confident in working independently as a designer, but collaboratively as part of a larger project team
Be comfortable sharing ideas, concepts, and designs with clients and/or other team members
Create documentation of your designs and assist developers in implementing your designs
Assist or facilitate usability testing with designs and incorporate feedback into new iterations of the design
Use your creativity to help find solutions for the unique problems the user or customer may have
Be eager to learn from your colleagues and be an active contributor to the team’s collective knowledge
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a web management, UX design, or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, computer science, psychology, or a related field
Demonstrated resiliency and experience in client-facing roles requiring tactful communications in fast-moving environments
Ability to collaborate with teams in an agile setting and work across many workstreams
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on attention to detail to produce client-ready reports and presentations
Talent for anticipating obstacles and risk in projects and proactively seeking solutions to mitigate them
A self-starter who is comfortable with a variety of UX skills, and perhaps considered a generalist in the field
Experience in a Drupal environment
Candidates must be willing to complete the e-QIP and undergo a standard federal government background check for this role. Employment is contingent on fitness for the position.

Pay Range
- There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$98,124.00 - $166,810.00
