Financial Accountant - Join a Leading Investment Firm

Are you an accounting professional looking to grow your career in the investment industry ? We're partnering with a well-established investment firm seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, client billing, and treasury functions while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer , the Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting the firm's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and contributing to process improvements.
Accounts Payable - Process vendor invoices, maintain accurate records, and resolve payment discrepancies.
Financial Operations - Prepare journal entries, maintain amortization schedules, and assist with month-end close .
Client Billing & Revenue - Reconcile revenues, manage cash receipt tracking , and support billing processes.
Treasury Functions - Assist with cash flow forecasting, check production, and financial file maintenance .
Process & System Improvements - Contribute to accounting system enhancements, inventory tracking, and other special projects .
Experience - 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a financial services or investment environment.
✔ Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of accounts payable, general ledger processes, and month-end closing . Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
✔ Education - Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
✔ Personal Attributes - Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a strong communicator with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity .
