Job Description
Public Relations Manager
Our client, an esteemed global law firm, is looking for a Public Relations Manager to join their New York team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute media strategies for various firm practices.
- Coordinate with global PR teams across Europe, Asia, and U.S. offices.
- Build and leverage relationships with journalists in legal, business, and trade media.
- Pitch story ideas and assist partners in preparing for press interactions.
- Align PR efforts with marketing and business development teams.
- Write press releases, develop media strategies, and track PR metrics.
- Lead and mentor PR team members, ensuring performance and compliance with firm policies.
- Oversee departmental goals and ensure alignment with firm values.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, media relations, and legal marketplace.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience managing PR/media relations in a law firm setting.
- At least six years of PR experience, with three years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in relevant software and strong organizational skills.
