This position is primarily responsible for the planning and successful execution of live audio/visual events, in multiple capacities including the following roles: project management, technical directorship, support technician, warehouse support/oversight, driver.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keeps a neat and clean appearance as this is a client-facing role.
- Works as a lead project manager in all pre-event planning.
- Direct logistical and production planning with venue and client.
- Crew lead and crew management.
- Issues written and oral instructions.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Equipment oversight on job site.
- Work as an on-site audio/visual technician when needed.
- Work as an on-site technical director when needed.
- Some driving.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job requires acute hearing (audio), visual intercept (visual), and the ability to lift 50lbs frequently. In many cases, this role can require walking within a single venue on average but not limited to 11 miles daily.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
