Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete 12-hour CPE Training and 2-hour QPR Suicide Prevention Training (paid trainings).
- Maintain a presence on campus, serving as a resource and referral point for peers.
- Manage social media to share educational content and resources.
- Participate in weekly "Tops Peer Influencer Committee" meetings to plan programming, review materials, and gather student feedback.
- Assist in planning and executing health and wellness programs and events such as Student Involvement Fairs, Success Week, and Wellness Fest.
- Support promotion of events and programs through various channels.
- Help create promotional health-related videos for the website, app, and other platforms.
- Present on health and wellness topics at campus events, student groups, and classes.
- Plan and implement weekly health and wellness events like Wellness Wednesdays and tabling activities.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a Tri-C student with a minimum 2.50 GPA.
- Interest in wellness education and prevention programming.
- Good academic and behavioral standing.
- Positive, energetic, professional demeanor.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining confidentiality.
- Commitment to inclusivity and alignment with Tri-C’s mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or experience in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Healthcare, Education, or related fields.
