A Collaborative, Impactful Role
This is more than a technical position—it’s an opportunity to work alongside a Solutions Architect and an Implementation Architect, collaborating to configure benefits plans within Dayforce HCM. Once the plans are established and enrollments take place, you will be instrumental in extracting, transforming, and transmitting the data to external partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

- Leverage Dayforce HCM Integration Studio to create seamless data extraction processes.
- Apply ETL best practices to maintain data integrity and optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ACA, GDPR, and SOC 2 regulatory standards.
Collaboration & Partnership
- Work closely with the Solutions Architect and Implementation Architect to align data exports with benefits plan designs.
- Act as a liaison between Plan Sponsors, vendors, and internal teams to streamline data transmission.
- Participate in client discovery meetings to gather requirements and set clear project timelines.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and data mapping guides.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct unit testing and validation to ensure files meet carrier specifications.
- Develop and execute test cases to guarantee data accuracy.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure smooth file transmissions.
- Perform end-to-end testing with carrier partners before deployment.
Ongoing Optimization & Support
- Monitor file transmissions for performance, errors, and compliance issues.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Dayforce-generated file feeds.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for file feed setup and management.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, HR Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS/HCM integrations, benefits administration, or data file feeds.
- Experience with Dayforce HCM Integration Studio is a plus, but other HCM experience (Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, UKG) is valuable.
- Knowledge of carrier file formats (ANSI 834, LIMRA LDEx, XML, CSV, API-based transmissions).
- Understanding of benefits transactions (New Hire, Life Events, COBRA, Terminations, etc.).
- Familiarity with HIPAA 5010, ACA compliance, and regulatory data exchange standards.
- Strong SQL and ETL skills for data extraction and transformation.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
