Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Operations Coordinator to for a 100%remote project-based assignment. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting and enhancing the client's fundraising and donor database systems, helping prepare for the transition to a new customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Job Title: Marketing Operations Coordinator (CRM Specialist)
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract
Compensation: $50-$70/hour (targeting $65/hour or lower)
Schedule: M-F, 8am to 5pm (PST, MT, CT, and EST all ok!)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $28-32/hour on W2
Responsibilities / Day to Day:
As the Interim Marketing Operations Coordinator, you will:
- Oversee the cleanup, review, and preparation of fundraising data for migration into a future CRM platform (likely Raiser's Edge).
- Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and finance teams to ensure donor gifts and data entries align with donor intents and proper fund allocations.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support accurate donor logging, reporting, and forecasting.
- Create donor mailing lists for solicitations, publications, and constituent journeys, maximizing engagement and conversion.
- Write, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to marketing and development operations.
- Train team members in CRM best practices and create internal documentation for efficient use of fundraising platforms.
- Coordinate donor acknowledgment tasks, such as tax receipts and thank-you letter, while providing exceptional donor services.
- Troubleshoot and respond to donor and staff inquiries related to online giving and donation processing.
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is mandatory. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor CRMs is a big advantage.
- 3+ years of CRM or donor database management experience, including data cleanup, reporting, and workflow documentation.
- Exceptional attention to data quality, entry integrity, and detail tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency with philanthropy, donor services, or stakeholder engagement processes in nonprofit or fundraising environments.
- Experience with marketing workflows and creating donor journeys using integrated systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with nonprofit finance or grant tracking is preferred but not required.
