Overview
Takes ophthalmic photography on adults and children. Performs ophthalmic imaging and related education, research, and publication functions for the Ophthalmology Section.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Imaging or Photography with 3 years of prior experience in an ophthalmic photography or biomedical communications position, or the equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, perform multiple projects concurrently, handle frequent interruptions, and respond quickly to emergent requests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proven writing and public speaking skills essential.
- Must have excellent computer capabilities with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Knowledge of technical and administrative elements necessary for the efficient operation of a university based ophthalmic photography unit.
- Certified Retinal Angiographers (CRETA) within five (5) years of hire date. - BLS required within 30 days of hire date.
