Sales & Marketing Analyst Why this job is important We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Analyst to join our Sales and Marketing team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in managing leads and sales data platforms, analysis, sales performance, data visualization and reporting. The Sales and Marketing Analyst will be responsible for quickly gathering, analyzing, and interpreting sales data from multiple sources, providing actionable insights to drive business strategy, and communicating findings to key collaborators in a clear and impactful manner. The role involves providing feedback on upper funnel activities and their results, helping to make decisions on whether to recreate or pivot strategies. The core responsibility is within commercial activation, focusing on cultivating and proving out what marketing efforts are working. The role includes pulling reports to help prove the effectiveness of marketing and making decisions based on those insights. The person in this role will work with various collaborators, finding trends, working within platforms, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs). Key Responsibilities: Gather data from various sources such as Salesforce, Pardot, Excel. Desk research to identify ways to increase marketing activity that deliver an increase in marketing leads. Analyze and interpret large, complex sales data sets from various internal and external sources to identify trends to increase marketing effectiveness and shared learning. Develop and maintain detailed sales and marketing performance reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key business metrics and KPIs using Salesforce or PowerBI. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams. Create blinded reports and dashboards that are easily understandable and provide actionable insights, ensuring a high standard of data presentation. Collaborate with various teams across the organization to support marketing success and enable stronger decision making. Work under tight deadlines, prioritizing multiple data requests and projects while maintaining attention-to-detail and accuracy. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from data to support sales and marketing strategy development. Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sales data analysis. Create and support sales and marketing initiatives to increase lead generation, engagement, and sales conversion. Lead assessment, coding and routing management. Ad hoc system administration, executive reporting, and data maintenance. Qualifications: Shown experience as a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst, with a focus on sales and performance analytics. Strong portfolio highlighting the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise, and visually appealing way. Expertise in data visualization and advanced reporting, with a deep understanding of best practices in communicating data to diverse collaborators. Experience working with large datasets across multiple platforms and the ability to merge, analyze, and interpret complex data. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros; experience with SQL or other database query languages is a plus. Strong knowledge of Salesforce is required. Knowledge of Pardot and Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (technical and non-technical). Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify insights from data and provide actionable recommendations. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years’ experience with
predictive analytics
or
machine learning models
