About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Library Finance and Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and planning, resource allocation, and general administration for the Libraries. This role involves crafting innovative proposals to advance the Libraries' mission, making executive-level business decisions, and serving as the primary administrative liaison with other university units. The Executive Director will also be part of the executive administrative team, advising on financial planning and policy, and will play a critical role in shaping the Libraries' future and driving its tactical initiatives. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years' of full-time experience in business administration, finance, or accounting, with a focus on budget creation and management. The role requires experience in implementing organizational policies, supervisory experience, and proficiency in financial applications. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of academic practices, experience with multi-million-dollar budgets, and industry certifications. The Executive Director will be expected to ensure the Libraries' fiscal health and sustainability, supervise administrative staff, and manage facilities. The position is essential and may require the incumbent to work during emergencies.
