Job Title : UX Writer & Content Designer 3

Location :San Jose , CA

Duration : 6months with possible ext

Work Schedule : Hybrid – Minimum 3 days/week onsite in San Jose, CA (Tues–Thurs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep Research & Information Literacy Skills:
• Research Methodology Understanding: Qualitative & quantitative research, experimental design, and data collection techniques.
• Source Evaluation & Fact-Checking: Ability to evaluate source credibility, identify bias, assess information authority, and verify data using fact-checking tools.
• Information Synthesis: Combine and evaluate diverse information sources to create coherent insights and assess LLM’s synthesis quality.
• Content Quality & Domain Expertise:
• Exceptional Writing & Editing: Grammar, clarity, style, and coherence; create/edit high-quality training content and evaluate LLM output.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge in Finance, Math, and Science (Physics); ability to acquire new technical knowledge quickly.
• Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills:
• Problem-Solving and Pattern Recognition: Analyze LLM performance and identify weaknesses, errors, or areas for improvement.
• Logical Reasoning Assessment: Evaluate soundness and structure of LLM-generated arguments and inferences.
• Technical Aptitude & Data Handling:
• Data Curation/Annotation: Experience with preparing and annotating datasets for LLM training/fine-tuning.
• Familiarity with AI Tools & Platforms: Comfort with testing platforms, APIs, and AI evaluation tools.
• LLM Interaction & Evaluation:
• Prompt Engineering: Design effective prompts to test and refine LLM outputs.
• Output Analysis & Bias Detection: Assess for accuracy, coherence, depth, and bias. Identify hallucinations or factual inconsistencies.
• Understanding LLM Limitations: Knowledge of typical LLM failure modes and how they affect research tasks.
• Clear Feedback: Provide detailed assessments and findings to engineering and research teams.
• Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to support LLM development and evaluation.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• Native English-speaking candidates with at least one of the following qualifications:
• Ph.D./Master's in Political Science, Linguistics, Creative Writing, Content Writing, Arts, Essay Writing, Scriptwriting, or English Teaching.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Cultural awareness and familiarity with local norms.
• Proficient in computer use.
• Ability to carry out responsibilities promptly and consistently.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data flows and quarterly result reviews.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Team player with a solution-oriented attitude.
• Excellent writing and editing skills across various audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Interest in software, machine learning, data, and finance.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working with user research, customer feedback, and data.
• Capability to synthesize inputs into content strategy and content choices.
