About Panorama Community Magazine
Panorama Community Magazine is a trusted voice in regional storytelling, connecting readers to their community through engaging, insightful, and locally relevant content. With a mission to elevate community awareness and celebrate local culture, we publish a monthly print and digital magazine distributed throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. As we expand our digital and editorial projects, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Project Manager to join our remote team and help guide key initiatives from concept to completion.
Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of editorial and operational projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of editorial, digital, and marketing projects
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and documentation
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams (editors, designers, sales, contributors) and external vendors
- Manage resource allocation, deadlines, and budget tracking where applicable
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and adapt plans as needed
- Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery in alignment with company goals
- Monitor project performance and produce regular status reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in media, publishing, or marketing
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a remote work environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com)
- Ability to work independently while keeping collaborators informed and engaged
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications a plus

- Familiarity with magazine publishing cycles and editorial workflows
- Experience working with creative teams, including writers, editors, and designers
