Congressional Federal Credit Union is seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Marketing Manager to drive membership growth, deepen member engagement, and optimize marketing operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that attract new members, increase product adoption, and strengthen member relationships.
The Marketing Manager will oversee marketing campaigns, digital engagement initiatives, and operational efficiencies to ensure alignment with our business objectives. This role will work closely with the Brand Experience Manager to ensure that marketing efforts align with the overall brand strategy while focusing primarily on growth, engagement, and campaign execution.

Collaboration & Leadership
- Manage direct reports, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure team member effectiveness and professional development.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Ensure marketing team members comply with all regulatory and compliance requirements related to marketing communications and member outreach.
- Work closely with the Brand Experience Manager to ensure marketing initiatives align with brand strategy while focusing on member acquisition and engagement.
- Partner with internal teams, including Lending, Digital Experience, and Member Support, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives.
- Develop and implement data-driven marketing campaigns to attract new members and increase deposits, loans, and other product adoption.
- Design and execute engagement strategies to deepen relationships with existing members, increasing share of wallet and long-term retention.
- Leverage member segmentation, data analytics, and marketing automation to optimize targeted outreach efforts.
- Support business development and community engagement initiatives with strategic marketing efforts.
- Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, and traditional channels.
- Oversee the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, lifecycle marketing, and member outreach initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing campaigns align with credit union goals and enhance member experience.
- Ensure marketing materials maintain consistency with brand guidelines while supporting marketing objectives.
- Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance campaign effectiveness, automation, and member engagement.
- Work cross-functionally with the Digital Experience team to optimize digital marketing efforts and improve the member journey.
- Implement A/B testing, personalization, and automation strategies to maximize marketing performance.
To ensure success in this role, the Marketing Manager will be required to obtain relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications within the first year of employment. These certifications will be determined based on evolving needs of the credit union and industry best practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
Qualifications and Skills required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, preferably within financial services, credit unions, or banking.
- Strong background in digital marketing, campaign execution, and analytics.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms preferred.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and optimize marketing performance.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate ideas in an energetic environment.
- The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
- Ability to prioritize, work quickly, and manage multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines.
