What you will be doing You will act as a security consultant and trusted partner by advising on security strategy, risk management, and information security requirements for the Human Resources and Corporate Services portfolios, including specific product groups such as payroll, talent management, legal, finance, and other corporate services. You will be responsible for coordinating with business and technology partners to secure the assets, information, and processes associated with these critical customer-impacting functions. The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA or Plano, TX. Main responsibilities Ensure all portfolio project teams receive, understand, and know how to execute their information security and data privacy requirements. Be the liaison that identifies, brokers, and connects portfolio partners to all relevant services and stakeholders. Meet regularly with technology and business leaders to align portfolio projects, priorities, and needs with the Information Security Program’s priorities and capabilities to continually improve ACI’s information security posture. Leverage, help mature, and aid in scaling information security tools and services to uncover existing and emergent threats to ACI data, technology, and business initiatives. Evangelize information security awareness across the portfolio to upskill partners who will aid in driving reduction of risk and adoption of security services. Be the subject matter expert the Information Security Program can leverage for portfolio-specific insights. Sense, define, scope, and lead resolution of high-impact, complex problems. Drive toward consensus and be a strong collaborative partner in a large and complex organization. Partner with Enterprise, Application, and other Lead Architects in driving modular, services-oriented integration and solutions architectures. Lead delivery process, make implementation decisions, coach, and mentor team members. What we are searching for 7+ years of experience in an information security role. Human Resources and Corporate Services experience highly preferred. Information security professional certification desired (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.). Working knowledge of compliance obligations relevant to retail organizations (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, etc.). Working understanding of cloud deployment models, techniques available to secure them, and risk tradeoffs between IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployment models. Strong understanding of technology risk, information security fundamentals, defense-in-depth practices, risk assessment fundamentals, and risk management practices. Ability to translate information security work into both technical and business verbiage. Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy, and data security. Analytical aptitude and a data-driven decision maker. Increased awareness of and compliance with information security and data privacy requirements across portfolio teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles. Strong sense of urgency, business ethics, delivery, and dependability.
