Corgan is actively recruiting an outstanding senior-level designer with experience and passion for visual storytelling through graphic communication in the built environment to join our Brand + Graphics team. This individual will support our team in the design, documentation, and implementation of experiential graphic design features, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, and clients to deliver projects across sectors. Our ideal team member is passionate and seeks to expand their responsibilities and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical expertise and creative leadership across multiple projects in sectors such as Office, Multifamily, Aviation, Education, and Data Centers.
- Design concept support and development, ideally using 3D modeling or other software tools.
- Guiding the design team in the practical and real-world buildability of concepts.
- Reviewing and redlining designs, documentation, and production art generated by junior staff (QA/QC, detail-oriented).
- Assisting in punch walks, site observation during installation, and reviewing shop drawings/submittals.
- Coordinating directly with vendors, contractors, and trade partners.
- Supporting Project Managers with staffing, schedules, and client presentations.
- Communicating clearly with Project Managers and Directors throughout projects.
- Identifying opportunities to train and grow junior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in visual communication/graphic design, interior design, architecture, environmental design, industrial design, experiential design, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Environmental/Experiential Graphic Design or Fabrication.
- Strong portfolio featuring signage, branded environments, donor recognition, identity development, or digital design for the built environment.
- Knowledge of wayfinding strategies and signage programming; SEGD membership/involvement is a plus.
- Familiarity with architectural construction documents, scales, sections, plans, and elevations.
- Strong knowledge of typography and three-dimensional design application.
- Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Suite; experience with 3D modeling/visualization software like Revit is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of construction materials and production methods.
- Outstanding attention to detail from design elements to file structures.
- Collaborative work ethic, motivation to grow, and experience coaching team members.
- Flexible attitude, strong organizational and communication skills, confident presentation abilities, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Team player capable of motivating high-quality work.

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000 annually – LA and NYC only. Factors such as experience, education, and training influence the actual salary. This range is not inclusive of total compensation.
