Position: Design/Quote Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Design Quote Specialist for one of our clients. They will be responsible for creating designs and quotes by harmonizing the clinical space, workflow, and technology, working closely with customers, distributors, and the company’s salesforce to create designs, drawings, specifications, and quotes.

Responsibilities:

1. Create spaces, designs, and quotes customized for customer needs.
2. Provide professional customer interface with customers, architects, dealers, and salesforce.
3. Develop project specifications and pricing, manage changes and revisions, and ensure quotes are ready to order.
4. Design validation against construction, architectural, and design plans, adhering to building codes and ADA requirements.
5. Manage work of all sizes, from single rooms to facilities or multi-floor hospitals.
6. Lead or conduct live design sessions with architects, designers, executives, and decision-makers.
7. Educate, coach, and consult with architects, facility planners, and sales teams.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience within design or architecture.
• Ability to read architectural floor plans and bid documents.
• Experience using 2D and 3D drawing tools (CET or AutoCAD preferred).
• Associates Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or Engineering.

Work Location:

Versailles, OH or Kansas City, KS (4 days on-site per week)

Salary Range:

$55,000/year - $72,000/year
